DEATH AND BIRTH 🤔 BY ROHIT SAAH
What happens after death? This is a question that has fascinated humans for centuries. Different perspectives—religious, spiritual, and scientific—attempt to explain this mystery.
1. Religious Perspectives
Islam
In Islam, life after death follows a structured process:
When a person dies, their soul embarks on a new journey.
Two angels, Munkar and Nakeer, question the deceased in the grave: Who is your Lord? What is your religion? Who is your prophet?
The righteous receive comfort, and their grave becomes like a garden of paradise.
The sinful face torment in the grave.
On the Day of Judgment, all souls will be resurrected, and Allah will decide who enters Paradise (Jannah) or Hell (Jahannam) based on their deeds.
Hinduism
In Hindu belief, the soul undergoes reincarnation (Punarjanm):
A person's next birth depends on their karma (deeds) in their past life.
Good deeds lead to a higher birth, while bad deeds result in a lower birth (possibly as an animal or a life full of suffering).
Moksha is the ultimate liberation where the soul escapes the cycle of rebirth and merges with the divine.
Christianity
Christians believe in Heaven and Hell.
Those who lived righteously and accepted Jesus Christ as their savior go to Heaven.
The sinful and unbelievers face eternal punishment in Hell.
On Judgment Day, Jesus Christ will decide everyone's final fate.
Buddhism
Like Hinduism, Buddhism believes in rebirth based on karma.
A person’s next life is determined by their actions.
Nirvana is the ultimate goal, where the soul attains enlightenment and escapes the cycle of rebirth.
2. Spiritual Perspectives
Some people believe the soul enters another realm after death.
Many individuals report Near-Death Experiences (NDEs), claiming they saw a bright light, met deceased loved ones, or felt an overwhelming sense of peace.
Some spiritualists believe in spirit worlds where souls exist before being reincarnated or moving to higher realms.
3. Scientific Perspectives
Science explains death as the complete shutdown of the body and brain. However, there are some intriguing theories:
Near-Death Experiences (NDEs): Some clinically dead people who were revived reported seeing light, leaving their bodies, or recalling past events.
Consciousness Theory: Some scientists propose that consciousness is a form of energy that might transfer into the universe upon death.
Quantum Physics & Multiverse Theory: Some physicists suggest that there could be parallel universes where consciousness might continue to exist in a different form.
Conclusion
What happens after death remains one of life’s greatest mysteries .
